Want a clone of the boot the US trusted in the harsh conditions of Vietnam? The germans made one, and it's one of our favorite surplus boots ever.
Designed for hot and humid environments and modeled after the US Pattern III Jungle Boots, these boots sport water draining vents on the lower portion and a mesh internal lining to allow venting and drying of the feet.
A layered mesh insole also aids in keeping feet dry and trench-foot free. These boots are more flexible than your typical surplus boot, and feature both loop and hook eyelets to ensure your laces don't come undone when trudging through foliage.
A hardened oil and gas proof outsole resists punctures in adverse terrain, while the angled treads reduce the likelihood of debris build-up and do a pretty good job of self-cleaning.
